The Life and Times in Major League Baseball

HA! Well, I just got MLB 09: The Show for $1 from a buddy, and I just started a Road to the Show (Career mode) player yesterday, and I thought it'd be interesting to see how well/bad I do. Right now, I'm doing very well. Batting .556 in the first month of my AA (EL League Curve, affiliate for the Pittsburgh Pirates) rookie season. On a 42 game hitting streak, hoping to break the record (56), which was set in 1942, give or take 2 or 3 years.

Broke the hitting streak record with a streak of 57. Taking a break atm.

Forced to retire due to a broken spinal cord. Smashed into the catcher trying to steal home and I don't know what happened. LULZ!
